It didn’t always come easily for me. Give my wife the credit! But it is always about Faith. The most important part of my day, is the three little beads at the bottom of my Rosary. Faith, Hope, and Charity! Everything stops on those three beads and I really lean in! I beg Mary, full of Grace, for those gifts! With Faith, with Hope, and with Charity I can give of myself. I can Trust that I will be fine and move beyond my Fear and selfishness. It does not come easily for me nor the way I was raised. I trusted and had to let go! Later in life, I faced sincere adversity. I begged for the courage to just go one more day! My Catholic Faith was a bottomless and deep resource that I had never realized. I received the courage to go forward, and not only courage for that but to completely put my Life in God’s Hands, and become a Roman Catholic Medical Missionary in dangerous locales in Haiti, Ecuador, etc.! Not only, but that was followed by unexpected Gifts of the Holy Spirit! A full 50 years after my Confirmation! Spirit and Flesh! Trust in the Spirit! He was ALWAYS there! His generosity is joyful AND bountiful!
