Hello gents,

I am consistently amazed at all the excellent apostolates designed to strengthen men and encourage virtue. Please take the time to review each of the initiatives and organizations listed below. As always, if you have something to submit, feel free to send me a message here with the subject line “The Gentleman’s List.”

Another excellent list Sam. All good selections. The apostolates Angelic Warfare Confraternity and the Knights of Divine Mercy and young seminarian Cory Bruns blog are particularly solid recommendations.

    Pax!

I would highly encourage all to consider joining the Angelic Warfare Confraternity or at least praying the prayers which you can find on the website. Especially in the world today, growing in the virtue of purity can be extremely difficult especially for men. We are constantly bombarded with temptations against purity. We men have a deep desire to be pure because it gives us the freedom to love authentically, but so many men are trapped in the horrible cycle of sexual temptation and sin. The Confraternity has numerous benefits. One of those benefits is the knowledge that there are thousands of people, struggling in similar ways, praying for you each day. St. Thomas Aquinas, who himself was severely tempted to sexual sin, and the Blessed Mother, Queen of Purity, are powerful intercessors who will help you overcome temptation, be healed of past wounds, purify your heart and your memory, and give you the strength and courage to live purely. Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord? Every man has the desire to climb that mountain. The man with clean hands and a pure heart shall climb the mountain of the Lord. You can be that man. Be that man.
